Bike/Barge Tour from Stavoren (8 days)
Route: Stavoren > Den Oever > Texel > Vlieland > Terschelling > Makkum > Stavoren
Price: Standard Plus Barge, the price is $1375 for the High Season /person (double occupancy). This tour does not occur during the low season.

What could be more enjoyable than sailing over the Wadden Sea and cycling on the West Frisian islands? Come and find out yourself on board one of our boats that will bring you to three of the most beautiful West Frisian islands as well as the island of Wieringermeer. Breathe in the fresh air on the windswept beaches, cycle through forest and dunes, and enjoy the exceptional beauty of this part of The Netherlands.
You do one or two round trips on each island: Texel, Vlieland and Terschelling. Short and long bike trips are always possible, but of course you can also decide to visit the beach or go for a walk. The tour guide rides along with you every day, choosing the long or the short route depending on the wishes of the group. However, you can fill in the day yourself by using the route descriptions.
Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Saturday
Stavoren, embarkation at 4 PM, short round trip (20 km)
Sunday:
Stavoren - by boat to Den Oever, round trip (20/40 km)
Monday
Den Oever - by boat to Texel, round trip (40/50/60 km)
Tuesday
Texel - by boat to Vlieland (with reserve), round trip (20/26/33 km)
Wednesday
Vlieland - by boat to Terschelling, round trip (20/40 km)
Thursday
Terschelling, round trip (20/40 km)
Friday
Terschelling - by boat to Makkum, then cycle to Stavoren, (33/40/45 km)
Saturday
Stavoren, debarkation before 10 AM, near railway station
Due to weather conditions the route may be altered.
